Chief Executive Officer

Felix A Bikpo

Felix has more than 20 years of experience in the Banking and Finance Services sector with in-depth knowledge on Sub-Saharan Africa. During his career, Felix has served as the Chief Executive Officer of Access Pan-Africa, a holding company of Access Bank Plc. Nigeria, Group Chief Executive Officer of Atlantic Financial Group (a regional banking group operating under the brand of Bank Atlantic) with a presence in 7 West African Countries, Managing Director of Ecobank Niger, Executive Director of ETI (Ecobank Group) in charge of the restructuring of the West Africa affiliates and as Vice President of Citibank NA, in charge of Financial Control, in French speaking countries. Felix was the first Managing Director of Fonds de Garantie des Investissements Prives en Afrique de l’Ouest (GARI Fund) an initiative of the French Development Agency (AFD), Deutsche Development Agency (DEG), European Investment Bank (EIB), West African Development Bank (WADB) and 23 Commercial Banks.

Prior to joining AGF, he was the Founder and CEO of Success Finance, an Asset Management and Private Equity Fund. An Ivorian national, he holds a Master’s Degree in Economics from the National University of Ivory Coast and is also a graduate from the School of Economics and Commerce (ESSEC) in Paris, France.


Deputy CEO and Chief Finance Officer

Jules Ngankam

Jules has vast experience in treasury and asset-liability management as well as monitoring foreign exchange risk, Interest rate derivatives including risk analysis, having worked in various senior international positions with leading banking and non-bank financial institutions. Prior to his current role, Jules worked for over 8 years at Barclays Capital, the investment banking division of Barclays PLC, in various roles including rates strategist, rates trader and treasury vice-president. In his latest position, he focused on the management of the Group’s liquidity, interest rates risk and foreign exchange risk in the Group’s balance sheet and the implementation of the Group’s internal funding curves and transfer pricing. Jules, a Cameroonian national, is a graduate from ENSAE (Paris) in statistics and economics and from ESSEC Business School (Paris) in Finance.

He also holds a Master’s degree in Applied Mathematics from the University of Paris Dauphine, France.


Head of Business Development

David Ekabouma

David Ekabouma is a multilingual Public Accountant with extensive international experience in auditing, gained with the Big Four auditing firms. He has experience in optimizing business performance across multiple industries and sectors and leading cross-border GAAP to IFRS conversions, along with worldwide audits of leading multinationals companies. Before joining AGF, David was a Partner at Malea Consulting LLC, offering financial Advisory Services. He also served as an Advisory Director at PricewaterhouseCoopers based in New York, USA and as Audit Senior Manager at Deloitte, based in Paris France.

A French national, David has a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (Finance and Accounting Option) from the University of Orleans (France) and is also a Certified Public Accountant (France).


Chief Risk Officer

Constant N'zi

Constant N'zi is a bilingual French and Ivorian National. He holds a Master’s of Science with majors in finance  in Corporate finance and Governance from ESSEC Business School in France and a degree in Statistician Economist Engineer from ENSEA school in Abidjan (Côte d’Ivoire).

Before joining AGF, Constant was working for Natixis Paris, France as their Risk Management Consultant and before that he worked in various companies including BPCE Group ,Sunze Technologie, Lyxor Asset Management and Société Générale in various capacities in the Risk department.

He brings to AGF  over 15 years of Risk experience in Financial Services and investment banking with great exposure having worked in Africa and Europe.  His main areas of expertise includes:-
-    Advanced skills in risk management
-    Development of overall risk management and risk reporting set up including organisation, processes and controls
-    Day to day risk controls as per risk management concept
-    Assets expertise: Equity & Equity Derivatives, Fixed Income & Fixed Income Derivatives, Credit & Credit Derivatives, Hedge funds & Hedge funds Derivatives
-    Regulatory knowledge: BASLE III, BASLE IV, UCITS IV, EMIR, AIFMD, Solvency II, Adhoc regulatory points from EBA.

Ag Chief Internal Controller

Ali Ballo

Ali Ballo is the Acting Chief Internal Controller at African Guarantee Fund.
Prior to this role, he was the Senior Internal Controller at African Guarantee Fund. Before joining AGF, Ali was an Audit Assistant Manager at Deloitte Côte d’Ivoire. He has previously worked with Ernst & Young Côte d’Ivoire and Société Africaine de Plantations d’Hévéas (SAPH) a subsidiary of SIFCA Holding.
An Ivorian national, Ali is a graduate with an MSc. in Finance, Marketing & Management from ESCA Business School.


Head of Human Resources

Josphat Ngaruiya

Josphat Ngaruiya is a bilingual Human Resources Professional with cognitive international experience and exposure with more than 14 years of practise. A registered HR practitioner with IHRM Kenya and SHRM USA; He is well versed with employee relations, change management, employment laws, strategy formulation, performance management and HR administration among other functions. He joined AGF from The Millennium Promise Inc. under UNOPS where he worked as the Regional Human Resources Manager for West and Central Africa. Before he was working for the World Agroforestry Centre (ICRAF), as Human Resources Officer. Prior to this, he served as Human Resource and Administration Manager for Homegrown Ltd, Bigot Flowers Limited and Ultra Kenya Limited.

A Kenyan citizen, Josphat holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration (HR option) from JKUAT- Kenya, a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Management from the University of Sunderland, UK and a Higher National Diploma in HR Management from Kenya Institute of Management. He has in view a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from the University of Nairobi.



Head of Monitoring and Evaluation

Emmanuel Rutsimba

Emmanuel Rutsimba, has over 15 years experience in development work, particularly in strategic planning, results-based monitoring and evaluation (M&E), and capacity development. He has built successful experience working with the public sector, private sector and civil society organizations in Rwanda and the East African Region. Prior to joining AGF, Emmanuel worked for the Alliance for a Green Revolution in Africa (AGRA) for six years as a Program Officer for Strategy, Monitoring and Evaluation, where he provided M&E and capacity building support to AGRA-funded programs in East and Southern Africa. A Rwandese national, Emmanuel holds a Master’s Degree in Rural Development from the University of East Anglia (UK), Bachelor’s Degree from Makerere University (Uganda).

He also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Monitoring and Evaluation (University of Stellenbosch, S. Africa), and short courses in Development evaluation from MIT (USA) and Carleton University (Canada).


Deputy Head of Business Development

Franck Adjagba

Franck ADJAGBA is the Deputy Head of Business Development at African Guarantee Fund.  

Prior to this role, Franck was the Managing Director of AGF West Africa, having previously headed the ECOWAS region and implemented AGF’s Business Development Strategy in the 15 countries of ECOWAS.

Before joining AGF, Franck was the Country Director of Alios Finance Burkina Faso, a Pan African Asset Finance Company, supported by a mix of prestigious African and European investors.

A Beninese national, Franck has 17 years of experience and hold a Master Degree in Marketing & Management from the Institut Supérieur Européen de Gestion (France) and a Master Degree in E-business & Strategy from Grenoble Graduate School of Business (France).

Legal Officer

Juneid Kodabux

Juneid is a Barrister-at-Law and has been called to the Bar of England and Wales in 2008 and to the Bar of Mauritius in 2009. He is the Legal Officer of AGF since January 2016. Prior to joining AGF, he was a senior associate in a top-tier law firm in Mauritius and was involved in both the corporate and litigation fields. He has been actively involved in the global business sector in Mauritius and in relation to company secretarial duties. He advised on the setting up and operations of collective investment schemes and private equity funds in Mauritius with a focus on Africa and was the legal adviser and held directorships in various global business companies and funds in Mauritius.

Juneid is a Mauritian citizen. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from the University of Birmingham (UK) and also successfully completed the Bar Vocational Course before being called at the Honourable Society of Gray’s Inn in London, England.


AGF West Africa Managing Director

Adidja Zanouvi

Adidja Zanouvi is a multilingual Financial and Accounting professional. Adidja has an extensive international experience in audit and control gained from Big Four Auditing Firms. She has experience in business processes and performance optimization across multiple sectors as well as cross-border GAAP to IFRS conversions.Before joining AGF, Adidja worked for over 4 years as a Process Owner of the financial and transformation plan (Strategic, Operational) and as a Group Internal Audit manager for a Private company under an LBO. She also served as an Audit Manager at Deloitte, based in Paris, France.

A Franco-Beninese citizen, Adidja has a Master’s Degree in Finance and Accounting from the University of Bordeaux (France), a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (Controlling Option) and she is also candidate to the French CPA (Memorialiste Expert-Comptable)
